The Best Western Beacon Charitable Trust was launched at the Annual Members’ Conference in Paris on 28th January 2008. To date the trust has raised £16,000 through fundraising and have helped over 10 causes.

The principle of the Best Western Beacon Charitable Trust is to help ‘make a little go further’ by providing some support for fundraising to ensure all funds raised can go directly to the cause. Alternatively when there is a specific goal which hasn’t quite been reached, the trust can provide the last bit required. However, what the trust is unable do is provide general funding for on-going expenses.

If you have a goal that has nearly been reached or you are requiring some seed funding to prime your fundraising, then these are the areas we can help with. For example we donated £260 to one of our hotels who were doing a sponsored parachute jump. This money covered the cost of the jump so the £1181 which was raised went directly to the charity they were supporting.
