
The Best Western Beacon Charitable Trust was launched at the Annual Members’ Conference in 2008. To ‘help make a little go further in your local community’ by proving some support for fundraising to ensure all funds raised can go directly to the cause and it’s a great way to kick start your event.
The trust looks at covering the cost of a fundraising event, for example if £100 was required to cover the cost of a disco and some raffle prizes the trust would look at covering this cost so all funds raised during the event go directly to the cause, so no need to deduct £100 from the final total.
Since its launch the Best Western Beacon Charitable Trust has provided over £10,000 to help fund a fundraising event, helped over 30 causes and over £75,000 has been raised for charity through these organised charity events.
